Dr. Fathi El Sayyad graduated with honors from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in 1975.
He received an Ophthalmology Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons, London and a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 1982
He received his Fellowship in Glaucoma from Cornell University in New York in 1986.
He worked as a Medical Director and Chief Consultant of Ophthalmology at Magrabi Eye Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 1986 until 2000
He worked as Medical Director and Senior Consultant of Ophthalmology at Magrabi Eye Hospital in Egypt from 2000 to 2002.
He has written many books and researches in the treatment of Glaucoma and Cataract.
He has been selected as an examiner for the Fellowship at the Royal College of Edinburgh and Glasgow for more than 20 years and is a Senior Examiner in the Middle East.
Sayyad Eye Center includes a large group of specialists, consultants and experts under the supervision of the Executive Director Dr. Fathi El Sayyad, Consultant of Ophthalmology, Member of the American and European Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, London.
