Bio

Dr. Fouad El Sayyad is a specialist in Cornea and Refractive Surgery . He received his medical degree from Cairo University School of Medicine, after which he completed his medical education in the United States. He then pursued a Clinical Research fellowship at the world-renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida in both Glaucoma and Cornea. Dr. Sayyad then completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida; followed by subspecialty training in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr Sayyad was certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 2018.

His clinical interests include Cataract surgery, Corneal Transplant Surgery, Ocular Surface Diseases, Anterior Segment Reconstruction, Laser Vision Correction, Secondary IOLs and refractive surgery.
